VE.Direct 1.8 meter long angled cable is a specialized original cord from Victron Energy, equipped with one L-shaped (angled) plug. It is designed for data exchange between devices that support the VE.Direct communication protocol (MPPT solar controllers, BMV battery monitors, SmartShunts) and central control panels (Cerbo GX, Ekrano GX). The angled connector is ideal for connecting equipment in cramped distribution panels where there is no room for direct cable exit, and the 1.8 meter length allows you to connect widely located modules.
Advantages of VE.Direct cable with L-shaped plug
- The L-shaped connector on one side provides a compact connection, protecting the cable from kinks when closing the panel door.
- Guarantees high-speed and stable data transfer via the proprietary VE.Direct protocol.
- Designed for synchronizing MPPT controllers, SmartShunt and BMV battery monitors, Phoenix VE.Direct series inverters.
- Universal length of 1.8 m - gives freedom in the placement of power system components.
- Equipped with reliable branded latches for stable contact.
- Original Victron Energy products are the key to durability and reliability.
Technical parameters
- Communication standard: VE.Direct (universal protocol for Victron Energy devices)
- Cable length: 1.8 meters
- Connector type: 1 × VE.Direct 4-pin (straight) + 1 × VE.Direct 4-pin (90° angled)
- Insulation: flexible PVC, resistant to temperature changes
Compatible equipment:
- MPPT SmartSolar and BlueSolar series solar charge controllers (with VE.Direct port).
- SmartShunt intelligent battery monitors and BMV-700/702/712 series.
- Compact voltage inverters Phoenix Inverter VE.Direct.
- VE.Direct to USB adapter cables for connecting to a computer.
- Control and dispatch panels Cerbo GX, Venus GX, Color Control GX.
Areas of application
- Synchronization of the MPPT controller with the Cerbo GX panel in conditions of severely limited space.
- Integration of measuring shunts (SmartShunt or BMV)in tightly packed battery compartments.
- Organization of neat and structured cabling.
- Energy systems in motorhomes (RVs) and yachtswhere flush mounting requires corner connections.
