MultiPlus-II 24/3000/70-32 GX — is an intelligent, highly integrated solution for building advanced autonomous and hybrid energy systems. This model combines in one compact housing a reliable inverter with a capacity of 3000 VA (2400 W), an efficient charger for 24 V / 70 A, a built-in system GX-controller with an informative display, an automatic transfer switch for 32 A, as well as built-in Wi-Fi and Ethernet communication modules.
This is an ideal choice for facilities with complex architecture, where remote monitoring, seamless operation with grid solar inverters, reliable backup of critical loads, and full support for ESS (Energy Storage System) systems are critically needed — and all this without the need to purchase an external controller.
Key advantages of the MultiPlus-II GX inverter
In most parameters set out below, this model confidently surpasses competing solutions from European manufacturers and leaves affordable Asian analogues far behind.
- Nominal power: 3000 VA / 2400 W, peak overload capacity – 5500 W.
- Pure 230 V sine wave – a guarantee of safe and absolutely stable operation of any electronics, including medical equipment and heating boilers.
- Maximum efficiency up to 94% – highly efficient energy conversion with minimal heating of the device.
- Ultra-low standby consumption: only from 3 to 13 W — this provides significant savings in the resource of connected batteries.
- Operating voltage range 24 V DC (19–33 V) — the device is initially optimized to work with advanced LiFePO₄ batteries, and at the same time is easily configured for absolutely any known types of lead-acid and lithium 24 V batteries!
- Productive 24 V charger at 70 A with an intelligent charge process temperature compensation function.
- Operating temperature range: from –40°C to +65°C – the device is designed for harsh operating conditions, including installation in vehicles, on yachts, in unheated utility rooms and outdoor climate cabinets.
- Perfect compatibility with all types of generators – gasoline, diesel, inverter, and gas stations. The finest possible adjustment of synchronization parameters via VE.Configure programs and the VRM portal is supported.
- Integrated system controller GX-device – the presence on board of WiFi, Ethernet modules, graphical display, USB, VE.Direct, and BMS-Can ports. Right "out of the box" the device supports connection of the entire line of Victron Energy accessories and full digital synchronization with the BMS of most global manufacturers of lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) batteries.
- Global remote control via the VRM cloud portal and the VictronConnect App.
- Advanced VRM platform software – allows you to keep the entire energy system under vigilant online control. Receive customized Push notifications about changes in the system (disconnection of the external grid, critical battery discharge, generator autostart). Any system events can be used as automatic triggers for control scripts.
Technological features
Smart separation of critical and secondary loads
- The first output – works in UPS mode (continuously). The second output – functions only when there is input voltage (external grid or generator). This engineering solution allows the most rational distribution of stored energy, protecting the battery charge from rapid depletion.
GX-index version – total controllability "all in one"
- The MultiPlus-II GX modification has an integrated system controller, a color information display, and a WiFi module on board, which opens up complete, unlimited access to all system settings without purchasing external expensive monitoring modules.
Differences between MultiPlus-II models and classic MultiPlus
- The MultiPlus-II series has the ability to connect an external current sensor (up to 100 A) for more precise operation of PowerAssist/PowerControl functions and complex adjustment of ESS algorithms. The regular MultiPlus line stands out for an even higher peak current overload capacity indicator.
Building three-phase and parallel systems
- It is possible to combine up to 6 devices into a powerful parallel system or create three-phase clusters (3 inverters per phase) – this is an ideal tool for scaling power at commercial facilities, farms, or in large private homes.
PowerControl and PowerAssist technologies
- PowerControl – intelligently limits the power consumption from a weak generator or unstable grid, preventing their shutdown due to overload.
- PowerAssist — instantly mixes the missing power from the battery bank at moments of peak, short-term surge in energy consumption.
Integration of grid inverters and MPPT solar controllers
- The inverter works flawlessly as part of flexible, smart ESS systems, supporting PV inverters and MPPT controllers in hardware with the ability to configure priority for self-consumption from the sun or holding the battery in backup source mode.
Built-in display, monitoring, and WiFi
- All telemetry data from the battery bank, parameters of the built-in charger and the inverter itself are clearly displayed on the front LCD screen or remotely via WiFi – on the screen of your phone, tablet, or work PC.
The integrated GX module keeps absolutely everything under control:
- Real SOC (charge level) of the connected battery
- Power supply of all distributed loads
- Battery charge parameters and PV generation indicators
- Downloading firmware updates and remote adjustment of settings
Victron ESS (Energy Saving System) – enterprise-class intelligent energy management
The advanced Victron ESS concept allows you to squeeze maximum efficiency out of solar power generation:
- Absolute priority of self-consumption – a radical reduction in dependence on buying energy from the external grid.
- Instant automatic backup – uninterrupted power supply of all critical nodes during a sudden city grid outage.
- Intelligent charge/discharge logic – flexible adaptation to multi-tariff meters, timers, and generator operation schedule.
- Deep integration of grid inverters – building a complete hybrid solar power plant in conjunction with grid inverters from Fronius, Solis, SMA brands.
- Clear visualization in the VRM cloud – comprehensive analytics, system event log, instant e-mail and push notifications to the owner's smartphones.
The fundamental goal of ESS is significant savings in finances for the purchase of electricity and 100% protection of consumers from emergency, rolling blackouts. The ESS logic is finely optimized by engineers for specific, individual consumption scenarios of each client to achieve maximum energy freedom.
Support for modern LiFePO₄ batteries with data exchange – the key to absolute safety
The MultiPlus-II 24/3000/70-32 GX inverter has a dedicated hardware BMS-Can interface for digital connection to "smart" lithium batteries equipped with a CAN communication bus.
This technology provides the ability to:
- Measure the SOC (residual battery charge level) with precision accuracy
- Hardware eliminate the risk of overcharging or ultra-deep discharge, which physically protects the battery from degradation
- Intelligently, in automatic mode, limit currents or shed secondary load when the battery approaches critical parameters
- Finely synchronize the battery charging algorithm in strict accordance with the strict requirements of the manufacturing plants
- Reliably record all warnings and alarm events in a secure cloud log for audit
- Ensure ideal operating conditions, which is the key to maintaining the factory warranty for the entire service life
The implementation of these technologies is critically important for 100% fire safety, durability, and ironclad stability of operation of the entire battery fleet as part of modern power systems.
