The hybrid inverter MultiPlus-II 24/3000/70-32 — is an intelligent and multifunctional new generation inverter-charger that organically combines in a single compact housing a 3000 VA (2400 W) inverter, a high-performance 24 V 70 A charger, an automatic power source transfer switch of 32 A, as well as an extended set of functions for working with advanced energy storage and management systems (ESS).
This model is an excellent solution for solar, backup, and fully autonomous electrical installations, where the primary requirements are absolute reliability, flexible scalability, and intelligent management of energy flows.
Key advantages of the MultiPlus-II inverter
In the vast majority of technical parameters listed below, this device confidently outperforms competing offers from European manufacturers and leaves budget Asian analogues far behind.
- Power: nominal – 3000 VA / 2400 W, peak – 5500 W.
- True 230 V ±2% sine wave – a guarantee of safe and stable operation of any sensitive electronics.
- Maximum efficiency up to 94% – highly efficient conversion with minimal heat loss across the entire load spectrum.
- Minimal standby power consumption – only 3–13 W depending on the selected mode (AES/Search), which helps save battery life.
- Wide input voltage range (19–33 V) – full compatibility with modern LiFePO₄ 24 V batteries; easily and quickly configured for all available types of 24 V lead-acid and lithium batteries.
- Temperature resistance: from –40°C to +65°C, active cooling system with a fan that activates only when necessary. The device operates flawlessly in vehicles with sharp temperature drops, and can also be installed in outdoor communication cabinets, unheated rooms, attics, and other places with aggressive environmental conditions.
- Compatibility with all types of generators – gasoline, diesel, inverter, and gas stations. The inverter has an extensive arsenal of settings for perfectly coordinating work with generators. The function of automatic control of their starting and stopping based on the battery discharge level is supported.
- Two independent AC outputs – for separate connection of critical and secondary loads. This is a fundamentally important option when using the MultiPlus-II 24/3000/70-32 inverter as part of a solar power plant or hybrid power system.
- Additional options for monitoring and control:
- Interface MK3-USB – detailed system configuration via PC.
- VE.Bus Smart Dongle – convenient Bluetooth monitoring.
- BMV-712/SmartShunt – precision control of the status and capacity of batteries.
- Cerbo GX / Ekrano GX – total control of the system and its integration into the VRM cloud platform.
- VRM cloud platform – allows you to keep your entire energy system under vigilant online control. You can set up personalized notifications about the loss of the external grid, a drop in battery charge to a certain level, the automatic start or stop of the generator. Each of these events can serve as a trigger for PUSH notifications and the launch of automated scenarios.
Technological features
Separation of critical and non-critical loads
- The first output – continuous, uninterrupted: powers all essential loads regardless of the presence of the external grid. The second output – auxiliary: active exclusively in the presence of an external source (grid or generator). Such an architectural solution allows you to rationally consume the stored battery energy, maximally extending the autonomous operation time of critically important equipment.
The difference between MultiPlus-II and the classic MultiPlus
- MultiPlus-II supports the connection of an external current sensor up to 100 A, which provides more accurate functioning of PowerAssist and PowerControl technologies, as well as fine-tuning of the ESS system's operating logic. The standard MultiPlus series, in turn, has a greater safety margin of the power section and increased overload capacity.
Three-phase and parallel operation
- The ability to combine up to 6 devices in parallel or 3 devices per phase – an ideal tool for scaling the system to the needs of a private house, commercial facility, or farm.
PowerControl / PowerAssist
- PowerControl – intelligently limits the current consumption from the generator or city power grid, preventing overload of the source.
- PowerAssist — in moments of peak consumption, instantly adds the missing power from the batteries.
Integration with solar systems
- MultiPlus-II seamlessly integrates with MPPT charge controllers and grid PV inverters, forming flexible hybrid and fully autonomous electrical systems.
Remote control and online monitoring
With the help of the Cerbo GX system controller and the VRM portal, you get full remote control over:
- SOC (real state of charge) of the battery
- Current power consumption of all loads
- Charging process and generation of solar panels
- Remote firmware updates and changing settings
Victron ESS (Energy Saving System) – next-level intelligent energy management
The Victron ESS system provides the ability to use solar energy as efficiently as possible and radically reduce dependence on the grid:
- Self-consumption priority – priority use of your own solar generation to minimize electricity bills.
- Automatic backup – instant provision of power to critical loads in the event of an accident in the external grid.
- Flexible charge and discharge logic – algorithms adapt to night tariffs, timers, peak loads, and the presence of a generator.
- Integration with grid inverters – flawless coordination of work with PV inverters from Fronius, Solis, SMA, and other global brands.
- Full visualization in VRM – clear consumption analytics, event log, and operational e-mail alerts.
The main goal of ESS is significant savings on energy costs and guaranteed protection of facilities from planned and sudden power outages. The system is finely optimized for the specific energy consumption scenarios of each specific user.
LiFePO₄ support with data exchange – a guarantee of safety and precision
The MultiPlus-II 24/3000/70-32 inverter is fully compatible with modern lithium batteries, including LiFePO₄ with a smart BMS via VE.Bus and/or VE.Can interfaces. Two-way digital data exchange allows you to:
- Measure the SOC (battery state of charge) as accurately as possible
- Reliably prevent overcharging or deep discharge, excluding damage to the battery
- Automatically limit currents or disconnect loads when approaching critical battery parameters
- Synchronize the charge profile strictly in accordance with the recommendations of the battery manufacturer
- Record all warnings and events in the system log for subsequent diagnostics
- Observe the conditions for preserving the maximum service life and official warranty on batteries
This is critically important for ensuring fire safety, durability, and stable operation of the battery fleet in modern power systems.
