The intelligent Smart BatteryProtect 12/24-65A controller acts to automatically disconnect all consumers when the battery charge drops below a dangerous threshold. This reliably protects the battery from harmful deep discharge. In addition, the device can be used as a main system switch to manually turn on or de-energize the entire network. This modification is equipped with a Bluetooth module, which allows all triggering and recovery thresholds to be easily set via the proprietary VictronConnect software.
Smart BatteryProtect – is a high-tech load distribution controller. It can work in tandem with VE.Bus BMS systems, is fully compatible with lithium cells, features minimal own power consumption, and has a built-in overvoltage protection unit.
Important advantages of the Smart BatteryProtect module
- Automatic network voltage recognition function (12V or 24V)
- Configuration via Bluetooth channel using VictronConnect (the radio module can be turned off if necessary)
- Presence of 9 factory trigger presets and the possibility of detailed manual calibration
- Ideal operation with LiFePO₄ batteries – full compatibility with the VE.Bus BMS ecosystem
- Option to work as a charging current cut-off
- High-precision overvoltage protection with an adjustment step of only 0.1 Volts (via mobile app)
- Ultra-low power consumption: varies from 0.9 to 1.4 mA in different modes
- Absolutely quiet operation (MOSFET switches are used, so there are no clicking relays and sparking)
- Presence of trigger and disconnect delays, which prevents false alarms from short-term surges
- Hardware protection of the signal port from short circuit currents
- Support for the “Instant Readout” function – view current data in the app without the need to pair via Bluetooth
