Victron Inverting Remote On-Off Cable is a specialized inverting control cable designed to remotely turn on and off Victron Energy equipment (such as low-power Phoenix inverters or BlueSolar MPPT charge controllers). This cable is necessary for correct integration of the devices with the VE.Bus BMS battery management system, which generates specific control signals.
The principle of working with VE.Bus BMS: the cable inverts the signal. When the BMS turns off the "Load Disconnect" output (protecting the battery), the cable broadcasts a command to turn off the connected equipment.
