BMV-712 Black Smart is the most feature-rich model of battery monitor from Victron Energy. The device boasts integrated Bluetooth, midpoint voltage monitoring, thermal sensor support and a built-in generator control algorithm.
The monitor will work perfectly with any type of battery (AGM, GEL, LiFePO4). It can work as a stand-alone device or be integrated into complex systems controlled by GX devices with access via VictronConnect.

BMV-712 Black Smart can take over control of the generator:
- Start signal: when the charge drops below 50% or the voltage drops
- Stop signal: when 90-100% SoC is reached or when the timer ends
- Why is this important: The generator operates only when it is really necessary, which significantly saves fuel, reduces noise and extends the service life of the generator.
