Victron BlueSolar PWM-LCD&USB; 12/24V-30A — is a reliable and practical PWM-type charge controller from the world leader Victron Energy. The device is equipped with an informative LCD screen and two USB ports. The device perfectly copes with charging various types of batteries (AGM, GEL, liquid acid lead, as well as LiFePO4 with a built-in BMS) and is an excellent solution for tourist, country, and autonomous lighting projects.
Main Advantages of the Controller
- Intelligent voltage recognition: automatic adaptation to 12 V or 24 V networks
- Informative LCD display: makes it easy to monitor current operating parameters and charge status
- Two built-in USB outputs: (5 V each, total current output up to 2 A) for convenient charging of mobile gadgets
- Battery protection against deep discharge: timely automatic disconnection of consumers
- Flexible operating modes: manual control of the load output, adjustable timer, «day/night» function
Technical Specifications of the Device
- Maximum charge current: 30 A
- Maximum input voltage from solar panels: up to 28 V (in 12-volt systems) / up to 55 V (in 24-volt systems)
- Self-consumption: very low, less than 10 mA
- Load disconnection threshold: when voltage drops to 11.2 V / 22.4 V (basic factory parameters)
- Grounding configuration: common positive
- Operating temperature range: from -35°C to +60°C
- Permissible air humidity: up to 95% (excluding condensation)
Autonomous Lighting Control
The controller has a built-in timer function and time of day recognition («day/night» mode). This makes it possible to automatically supply power to the load (for example, to lamps) immediately after darkness falls for a user-defined time.
- Manual control: the ability to quickly turn on or off power to consumers using a button
- Simple timer setup: is carried out directly through the display menu, without connecting additional programmers
Areas of Practical Application
- Autonomous lighting of streets, park areas, and adjoining territories
- Power supply of tent camps, trailers, and country houses with the ability to charge gadgets via USB
- Powering low-voltage electronics: LED strips, video surveillance systems, various sensors
Monitoring and Connection Interfaces
- LCD screen: displays the battery charge level, current and voltage values, as well as error codes
- A pair of USB outputs: 2 × 5 V (total 2 A) — ideal for direct charging of smartphones, power banks, and tablets
- Note: the model does not support Bluetooth and VE.Direct protocols, as it is designed for simple, basic tasks
