BlueSolar MPPT 150/60-Тr Controller — is a professional charge controller equipped with the latest generation of ultra-fast Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) technology. The device is designed to create highly efficient solar power plants with an operating battery voltage of 12 V, 24 V, or 48 V.
The device is capable of working with an input voltage from solar arrays up to 150 V, delivering a powerful charging current of up to 60 A to the battery bank. Such characteristics make this model an excellent solution for large-scale autonomous or hybrid systems that require the connection of a large number of solar panels.
A monolithic industrial casing, efficient passive cooling, full compatibility with any battery chemistry, and seamless integration into the Victron Energy monitoring ecosystem make the MPPT 150/60-Tr an ideal tool for stable and uninterrupted solar energy generation.
Key Advantages of the BlueSolar MPPT Solar Controller
- Innovative MPPT algorithm — guarantees an increase in energy efficiency by up to 30% compared to classic and more affordable PWM analogs
- High input voltage threshold (up to 150 V DC) allows switching large arrays of solar panels: up to 860 W for 12 V systems / up to 1720 W for 24 V / up to 3440 W for 48 V.
- Maximum permissible charge current — 60 A
- Support for 12/24/48 V battery banks — the system automatically recognizes the nominal voltage upon the first connection
- Universal compatibility with batteries, including modern lithium-iron-phosphate storage (LiFePO₄)
- Reliable design with a massive heatsink — provides 100% silent passive cooling (no fans)
- Comprehensive electronics protection — prevents damage from overheating, short circuits, reverse polarity, and overvoltage
- Absolute programming flexibility — the ability to detail the settings of all stages of the charging process
- VE.Direct communication port — for in-depth monitoring, configuration, and integration
- Minimal standby power consumption — the controller consumes less than 20 mA
Features of the Applied Technologies
Smart MPPT Tracker
- A high-speed algorithm continuously analyzes the state of the sun's rays, instantly finding the optimal point to generate maximum energy, which is especially noticeable on days with variable cloud cover.
High-Voltage Input from PV Modules (up to 150 V)
- Makes it possible to form long series strings of solar panels. This not only simplifies installation but also reduces voltage drops on power cables.
Support for Large-Scale PV Arrays
Peak solar field power reaches:
- 860 W (in 12 V systems)
- 1720 W (in 24 V systems)
- 3440 W (in 48 V systems)
Adaptation to Harsh Climatic Conditions
- The device functions stably in the temperature range from –30°C to +60°C. If the heatsink gets very hot, the algorithm smoothly and safely reduces the charging power.
Fine-Tuning in VictronConnect
- The application provides access to a complete list of parameters: exact voltage values for each stage, time intervals for absorption and float charge, temperature coefficients.
Multi-Level Protection System
- Protection against a critical voltage rise from the PV and battery sides
- Power modulation to prevent overheating
- Protection against incorrect polarity during connection
- Interruption of operation in the event of a short circuit on the output terminals
Where the Controller Can Be Used
- Autonomous and hybrid solar power plants for country houses — in combination with MultiPlus or Quattro inverters
- Mobile energy complexes based on motorhomes, trailers, and commercial trucks
- Marine power systems (yachts, houseboats, barges)
- Industrial facilities that require large arrays of PV panels
- Off-grid infrastructure (communications, monitoring) with remote control via the Victron VRM portal
Communication and Data Transfer Interfaces
VE.Direct Universal Port:
- Pairing with Color Control GX, Cerbo GX, Venus GX displays
- Synchronization with the VictronConnect mobile app (requires a VE.Direct Bluetooth Smart Dongle or a VE.Direct to USB cable)
- Access to data visualization: current voltage, current, historical generation statistics, system warnings
LED Indication on the Front Panel:
- Clear display of the controller's operating mode, MPPT tracker status, and presence of errors
Methods of Load Switching
This model is not equipped with a terminal block for direct load connection (Load).
To protect the battery from deep discharge and automate control, we recommend using:
- BatteryProtect — a power relay that disconnects consumers when the battery voltage drops
- Victron VE.Bus BMS or Lynx Smart BMS systems — for monitoring the status of lithium batteries
- Synchronization with Victron inverters — to create a centralized logic for the power system operation
