How to correctly calculate the charger power for the battery capacity?
The optimal charging current depends on the applied battery technology:

For lead-acid batteries (AGM, GEL, starter), the safe charging current should be between 5% and 15% of their nominal capacity. For example, a 65 Ah battery requires a current from 3.25A (65 * 0.05) to 9.75A (65 * 0.15) — 5A or 7A models are perfectly suited here.
For lithium batteries (LiFePO₄), higher currents are permissible: from 10% to 50% of the capacity. Accordingly, a 100 Ah battery can be safely charged with devices having a nominal current strength from 10A to 50A.
