Victron Filax-2 (SDFI0000000) is a high-speed automatic AC transfer switch designed to instantly transfer critical loads from a primary power source (such as the mains or diesel generator) to a backup (inverter) and vice versa. The device operates with single-phase voltage 230 V / 240 V and a frequency of 50 or 60 Hz.
The Filax-2 switch is designed specifically for uninterruptible power supply of sensitive electronics such as computers, servers, telecommunications equipment and medical equipment, for which even a short-term power loss is critical. Switching time is less than 20 milliseconds, which eliminates reboots or malfunctions of connected devices.
