Victron Energy Three-Phase Energy Meter EM340 (REL300300000) — is the newest, ultra-fast energy meter from Carlo Gavazzi, specially adapted to work with Victron Energy equipment. It measures the parameters of a three-phase AC network and transmits data to the GX panel (Cerbo GX, Ekrano GX) via the RS-485 interface. The main difference of the EM340 model is the incredibly high data update rate (every 100 ms), which makes the reaction of the ESS system to load changes almost instantaneous.

Integration with Victron Equipment
To connect the EM540 meter to GX control panels, the original Victron RS485-USB interface cable is required. Due to its high polling rate, this meter is the preferred choice for new ESS installations.
