Victron Energy 120/240VAC-100A Autotransformer - ITR000100101

The Victron Energy 120/240VAC 100 А Autotransformer — is a professional multifunctional device based on a toroidal core, designed to convert voltage (Step-Up / Step-Down) between 120 V and 240 V, as well as for precise load balancing in split-phase systems. The device makes it possible to utilize the power of the energy source as efficiently as possible, protecting phase lines from overloads caused by the uneven distribution of powerful 120-volt consumers.

Key functions and capabilities

• Balancing of split phases — dynamic equalization of currents in 120/240 V networks when powered by generator sets, inverters, or external electrical grids.
• Voltage conversion — reliable step-up or step-down of voltage between 120 V and 240 V standards.
• Alternative to complex circuits — replacing configurations with stacked 120-volt inverters with a more elegant and flexible solution: one 240 V inverter plus an autotransformer.
• Built-in ground relay — automatic connection of the neutral and grounding conductors during autonomous operation of Victron inverters (MultiPlus/Quattro) to ensure the correct operation of RCDs.
• Toroidal design — guarantees virtually silent operation and minimizes parasitic energy losses.

In what cases is the 100 А autotransformer needed?

• For objects with a significant phase imbalance due to the use of powerful asymmetric consumers (air conditioners, dryers, heaters).
• In energy systems where Victron inverter/chargers are configured to generate a split phase.
• To adapt European or American equipment on board yachts, campers, and special-purpose vehicles.
