Current measuring transformer 100A:50mA (20 meters cable) – this is an intelligent consumption sensor developed for the new generation Victron Energy inverters (MultiPlus-II and Quattro-II). The sensor snaps onto the main input cable of the house and continuously transmits to the inverter data on what current is drawn from the city grid. This gives the inverter the ability to dynamically compensate for the lack of grid power in real time at the expense of battery energy (PowerAssist technology).

Without this transformer, the full-fledged operation of hybrid stations in the ESS (Energy Storage System) mode is impossible. The sensor allows the inverter to redirect energy from the sun to the current needs of the house so that consumption from the paid grid is reduced to zero, and the input circuit breakers are never disconnected from overloads.
